Trellis

Collections

Arbitrary sets of recordings, plus the one collection Trellis keeps for you.

A Collection is any set of recordings you want to keep together. A recording can sit in as many Collections as you like, and they are listed in the sidebar under Collections.

Putting recordings in

One recording at a time:

  • right-click a recording card or row anywhere in the app
  • + Add to Collection on a recording’s own page
  • the search box on a collection’s page

The right-click menu can also create a new collection and add the recording to it.

Full Library

Full Library is every recording on the shelf. Anything you add later joins it, and anything you move out to Workshop or Backlog leaves it.

It appears on the sharing screen, where it is what Share my library grants. You cannot add to it by hand or delete it.

Collections and sharing

Sharing gives a person your whole library, read-only, and your collections travel with it. See How sharing works.

Your favorites stay on your machine. People you share with keep their own stars.

Collections, favorites and the letter grade

The letter grade is your judgment of the tape. The listening quality score is the analysis of the audio. The star is one click.
